Future of AI

Mankind has always been fascinated by the prospects of future. And sometimes we really doze off to those magical world. Many of those are just imagination but some are true at some extent and AI is one of them. 

AI has opened numerous possibilities in many sectors. Some are at the start of their AI journey, others are veteran travellers. Both have a long way to go. 

Their impacts can not be ignored in many fields:

Manufacturing: AI powered robots can work really smooth in assembly line and handle the work perfectly. Over a period of time they can handle the entire chain effectively which will reduce production time as well along with quality production. 

Customer service: Imagine you don't have to wait for the customer care executive to respond, Instead an AI will resolve your query much faster. 

Education: AI can simplify the way we consume knowledge. It can help in analysing the students facial pattern during classroom teaching and can predict which one needs more attention. It can provide curated lessons on the basis of that. 

Healthcare: Diseases can be predicted much accurately and speed up the process of recovery. It can be used to analyse the patient overall situation and provide personal care to each of them. 

Transportation: This one is quite interesting as we always thought of a car which can self drive. It is happening but perfecting that to the imagination can take decade or more.

Security: We never know that the person who bumped with us at the market is a fugitive or not. But AI can detect that. Millions of criminal data can be feed to the system which is connected to the cameras located at public places. They can identify the threat. It can help law & enforcement. 

While AI has vast applications in helping the humanity, it can do devastating thing: 

Autonomous weapons are AI systems that are designed to kill. In the wrong hands they can create havoc in the world. Gradually we will have a very complicated AI system that just cannot be turned off and that is alarming. 

AI is simply a tool and like the two faces of coin, it can either do magical things or destroy our world in the process.
